'The Slab' is a black, rubber square containing a thin sheet of flexible aluminum. It can be bent and shaped into any desirable form. It comes with an informational video. This early work is about the make-able world, it seems so easy and joyous, but things rarely go as planned.
The video alludes to home shopping television programs such as Amazing Discoveries, which were popular in the 1990's. In most infomercials, everything seems amazing and effortless while in reality things never work as they are meant to.
